Received a phone call as water was leaking into the living room. We drove out and tarped the roof to stop the leak. Installed a new roof with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles and GAF Feltbuster underlayment. We also installed 5” seamless aluminum gutters.

Our crew tore off the old shingles on this East Bend, NC home down to the decking, inspected every sheet of plywood, and built the roof back up from scratch. The job covered 18 squares total. We installed synthetic underlayment across the full deck before starting on shingles — a step that adds real weather protection underneath.
We went with GAF Timberline HDZ in Charcoal. It's a sharp-looking shingle that holds up well in the Piedmont climate — good wind rating, solid color retention, and it photographs well from the curb. Being GAF-certified lets us register these projects for enhanced warranty coverage that goes beyond the standard manufacturer guarantee.
Jobsite cleanup is part of the job, not an afterthought. We covered the landscaping during tear-off, ran a magnet roller over the grass and driveway twice, and loaded out all the debris before we left.
